[xmlschemata] Headaches w/ XDOTs

Hi all,

Even if I have myself *tremendous* difficulties to grab anything concrete (*)
about these [XDOTs], still, I have the feeling that at least on a purely
design-goals/conceptual level, they start to make shape :

(*: big headaches w/ syntax choices, relations/dependencies with RNG, specifying
how XDOTs are assigned to fragments in XML doc instances, etc - any help will be
*most* welcome;
well, I hope the next week-end to be more productive ;=)
